Hello,
Merry Christmas, happy new year, Happy Valentines Day, Happy Easter!
There you go, did that make up for all the occasions I've missed on this blog?
First of all, sorry for just leaving and not writing for 4 months. I'm not entirely sure why I've waited until now, the night before I go back to school after the Easter holidays when I should be doing physics revision, to write a blog post. I just kind of sat down and thought 'I'm going to write a blog post'.
Anyway I've decided to update you on my year so far. At the beginning of the year I wrote a post about how I want to take more chances and say yes to more things. I'm very proud to say so far so good! My friend and I have decided to try something new and go to a new place every month.
So far, I've been to a big shopping centre that was so far away I would never normally want to go to, but I loved it. I went down to Brighton on the beach and got a lovely henna tattoo, had one of my favourite days. And I went to Creams, which is a dessert place with ice cream, waffles, pancakes and milkshakes.
Those may be everyday things for you but they were very new for me and I really enjoyed it. I also went to Thorpe Park recently which was also a reasonably long journey, I always thought I absolutely hated roller coasters but after going on rush, nemesis and colossus I realised that I loved them. Of course I didn't have the guts to go on saw or stealth but I came a long way considering the last time I went on one was at 7 years old and I cried.
I've also learned how to skateboard, and it was a lot harder than it looked! I simply picked up a £10 skateboard from my local sports store one day and began to teach my self. Yes I've fallen over quite a few times but I'm almost there.
All these things I've managed to do were things I never thought I would be able to achieve and I'm so happy I've managed to do it. I encourage everybody to say 'yes' to a new thing every month, even if it's just going to a new ice cream shop like me. If you do decide to try something new, I would love to know what it was and what it was like so please let me know in the comments. Or if you write a blog post on it, comment the link and I'll go read it.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it.
Have a lovely week and I'll try to write soon.
Hannah x
